Western Speed Events Club based out of Sutton/Uxbridge Ontario. The
clinic will cover the basic principles and essential skills of barrel
racing. Get tips on getting better turns and times as Erica
assists riders of all levels in getting to the next level.
Bomb Proofing your Horse TBA
This
clinic is designed to help you prepare yourself and your horse for
things you may encounter out on the trail. A safe horse and calm rider
make the ride more enjoyable. As a trail rider and endurance competitor
for many years, I have encountered quite a number of things on the
trail that can send a horse in the other direction rapidly, not to
mention scare the rider. From animals to cyclists, and motorized
vehicles, I have seen it all and now prepare my horses for it.

Get
advice and hints from Claire Hunter on course jumping and we have a
session for those who have never jumped before - start with
a pole on the ground and progress to an elevated jump rail. This
year Claire will also demo and coach FREE JUMPING -
learn how to train your horse to jump.
Dressage, Heather
Collinge, coach & trainer currently pursuing Mary Wanless
certification and MH Lessard of Equus 3D, an Equine Canada "r"
Judge, Caledon Champ and Ontario Champ 2nd place for 2009 & 2010.
Ride
a Dressage test for your level, get advice from a dressage expert that
has trained horses to the Grand Prix level, then try to improve by
riding it again.

is the owner of Rustic Meadows, where she breeds a select number of
Reining horses. She is a certified Level 1 Western Coach &
the Chair of the Ontario Reining Horse Association's Show Committee.
The clinic will discuss what the judge is looking for in a
Reining pattern and allow you to try some of the elements for yourself.

is the owner of Rustic Meadows, and a certified Sidesaddle
Instructor/Judge. She has shown both English & Western
Sidesaddle with considerable success against astride riders. Have
you always wondered what a side saddle ride feels like? Here’s your
chance to find out! This clinic will allow you to try side saddle on a
calm, safe horse under the direct guidance of Joanne.
Riding helmets are provided. Open to riders and non-riders.

Hear
the toe-tapping music, the thundering hooves and the "Yahoo's" of this
incredibly fun group of performers and you will feel the excitement of
being an "Outrider" too! They perform throughout Ontario at Fairs,
Parades, Championships & Demonstration Events. In the morning
clinic, participants will learn a number of drill patterns at the walk,
trot and canter. The clinic ends with riders performing their skills in
an exciting drill demo. In the afternoon clinic, the riders will work
at the walk and trot.
Western Trail, Maggie Meehan-Thompson Hors'n Around
Maggie
is the owner of Hors'n Around Stables in Caledon, and is a Level 2
Coach with Equine Canada. She is a successful performance horse trainer
and competitor. Maggie and her students have earned over a
hundred Championship titles on both the Paint Horse and Pinto
Horse show Circuits. The clinic will discuss the
strategies required to successfully navigate the obstacles required in
a trail class. This clinic will allow you to practice the
movements required work each obstacle individually as well as try a
full trail course. NEW THIS YEAR - Western Trail jumping - with Maggie Meehan-Thompson - Maggie will coach you on ow to jump over low obstacles you may encounter on a trail.
